SHOWCARD STURTS — PRINTED & CUT IN STOCKPORT
Strut-backed showcards, printed and cut in Stockport.
Counter-top, shelf-edge, easel-back, header, and window display cards — strut die-cut into the same sheet, printed on the B1 5-colour press, ship flat from our 40,000 sq ft Stockport factory.
Showcards, made in Stockport.
A showcard is the printed face. The sturt is the structural strut die-cut into the back panel that turns it into a free-standing display — counter-top, shelf-edge wobblers, easel-back cards, header cards, window display cards. No glued-on backs, no separate components, no on-store assembly. Printed on the same B1 5-colour press that runs our folding cartons, die-cut on Bobst (card profile and strut in one pass), then ship flat for in-store deploy. Where the brief grows into a 3D structure, see Point of Sale.
- 01Strut die-cut into the same sheet — no glued-on backs, no separate components, no in-store assembly.
- 02Premium B1 5-colour print on the show face — colour-critical brand work that holds up on retail floor.
- 03Ship flat, deploy in seconds — single-fold to free-standing, multi-store rollouts hit deployment windows.
THE SPEC
Capabilities & specifications.
A baseline of what we routinely engineer, print, and cut for strut-backed retail showcards — the spec list buyers compare against when shortlisting a showcard manufacturer. Strut design is the first line, not the last. Anything outside this range, ask: bespoke is the default, not the exception.

END-TO-END, IN-HOUSE
Under one roof.
Every showcard moves through three stages without leaving the building. The strut is engineered first — a structural cutter-die that balances card weight, strut angle, and pack-flat efficiency. Then the B1 press lays down the show face, and the Bobst die-cutter takes the printed sheet to a card profile and a strut in a single pass. No glued-on backs, no third-party finishing.
From our floor.
A cross-section of recent showcard work — counter-top sturts, shelf-edge wobblers, easel-back cards, header cards, and window display cards, across Giftware, Personal Grooming, and Catering campaigns.
BUILT FOR
Industries we print for.
Showcards support campaign-led retail across these sectors — beauty-hall counter cards, supermarket aisle wobblers, dispensary signage, dealership accessory cards, gift-with-purchase displays.
The production journey.
Brief
Share the campaign, retail context, footprint, run quantity, and any branding constraints. We come back with a quote, a sample timeline, and a strut direction.
Sample
Flat printed proof or die-line for sign-off. No 3D prototype unless the strut design calls for it — most jobs go straight from die-line to plate.
Production
Print, die-cut, pack. Despatched flat for in-store deploy on the agreed date — every job tracked from press to dock.
Typical lead time: [TBC — X working days from approved artwork and die-line to despatch].
Trusted brands.
“[ Testimonial placeholder — typically 30–60 words from a brand or category manager who commissioned a showcard run: what they ordered (counter-top sturt, easel-back, wobbler, header card, window card), what made it harder than usual (campaign deadline, multi-site rollout, strut stability, colour-critical brand match), what we delivered, what they took away. Aim for a quote that names a measurable outcome (rollout hit on date, all-store deployment, single-pass production) rather than a generic ‘great service’. ]”

Need a counter-top showcard for the next campaign?
Send us a brief, an artwork file, or just a footprint and a retail context. We’ll come back with a strut direction, a quote, a sample timeline, and a press slot.
