PRODUCTION CAPABILITIES — CUSTOM CARDBOARD BOXES
Custom cardboard boxes, engineered to brief.
Bespoke cardboard boxes for retail packaging, point-of-sale, e-commerce, and branded gifting — engineered in CAD, prototyped in white-board, and made end-to-end at our 40,000 sq ft Stockport factory.
Custom cardboard, custom-made.
Whatever the brief — a folding carton for retail shelf, a custom mailer for e-commerce, a heavy-board structural display for point-of-sale, or a bespoke gift presentation box — we design and make custom cardboard boxes engineered to your spec. Our work covers the full cardboard packaging spectrum: structural design in CAD, white-board prototyping, B1 5-colour litho printing, Bobst die-cutting, hand finishing, and folder-gluing. All under one roof in Stockport. Whatever the box, custom-made to brief.
HOW WE WORK
From brief to cutter die.
Brief
Share dimensions, retail context, weight requirements, branding constraints, and run quantity. The more constraints upfront, the cleaner the engineering downstream.
Concept
Initial 2D structural sketches — usually 2–3 directions for you to react to. Decided in collaboration before any time is spent in CAD.
CAD model
The approved concept is built in [CAD package — TBC, e.g. Esko ArtiosCAD], tested digitally for foldability, structural integrity, and material efficiency.
White-board prototype
A physical sample produced in plain board for in-hand sign-off. You handle the structure, test the assembly, and confirm the engineering before any printing happens.
Cutter die
The signed-off structure is converted to a production cutter die — ready for the press. Handover to print-and-finish production scheduling.
WHERE THIS WORK GOES
From custom cartons to bespoke displays.
Designed to standard.
Every custom box leaves CAD with calculated load tolerances, transit considerations, and assembly notes. The white-board prototype confirms the engineering before any board is cut at scale. Our work is ISO 9001:2015 quality-managed end-to-end, FSC-certified for material chain-of-custody, and produced in our Made in Britain Stockport facility.
On the floor.
“[ Case study placeholder — typically 80–120 words covering: brand (or anonymised category), the original brief, what made it structurally hard, our solution, and the measurable result. Examples: ‘Reduced shipping volume by 30% by re-engineering the fold pattern to ship flat’; ‘Replaced three-piece glued construction with a single-cut twist-lock that assembles in 8 seconds without tools.’ ]”

From spec to shelf.
Brief
Share specs, dimensions, finishes, and quantity. We come back with a quote and a sample timeline.
Sample
Structural mockup or printed proof, depending on the job. Sign-off before we go to plate.
Production
Print, finish, glue, pack. Despatched on the agreed date — every job tracked from press to dock.
